Letadla byla a jsou vždy na nejvyšším stupni technologické a vědecké úrovně své doby. O vojenských letadlech to platí dvojnásob. Jen velmi malá část vysloužilých strojů končí ve sbírkách muzeí a u soukromých sběratelů. Většina jich je buď prodána nebo rozebrána. Výstava fotografií zapomenutých a zubem času poznamenaných vojenských letadel ,,lovce vraků” Vladimíra Cettla není jen unikátní jímavou sérií industriálních zátiší, ale obrazový materiál posbíraný v desítkách leteckých muzeí u nás i v zahraničí ve svém celku přináší překvapivou výpověď o zašlých stopách minulosti, jimž ani zub času nesebral nic z jejich výrazné monumentality. Výstava se koná v rámci doprovodného programu mezinárodního vojenského veletrhu Future Forces.

Shadows of memory – following the trail of military aircrafts

The aircrafts have always been at the highest technological and scientific level of its time. This is particularly true when we speak of military aircrafts. Only a small part of these retired machines ends in the collections of the museums or with the private collectors. Most of them are sold or dismantled. In the photographic exhibition by Vladimir Cettl, otherwise known as  “wreck-hunter” , there are shown the forgotten military aircrafts marked by the ravages of time and it´s not just a unique and touching series of industrial still life. It´s also picture material collected in dozens of museums both at home and abroad and as a whole it brings rather surprising testimony of the fading traces of the past. The fact, that the time has passed, doesn´t detract anything from their monumentality. The exhibition is held within the accompanying program of the International military Exhibition & Conference Future Forces.
